What’s with The God Mafia?
We believe it’s time to make a radical stand for Christ; in our actions, words and yes, even in the clothes we wear. The God Mafia creates bold and vivid clothing and apparel for those that know God and those that want to know Him. Our merch catches the eye and gets people talking and that’s exactly what we want. The “FAMILY, LOYALTY, and HONOR” banner is printed on every clothing item so that people will know what we believe and promote. We’d like to think we have started a movement rather than just another business, because we are definitely on the move to get God’s name out on the streets. Silence and indifference are no longer an option!
“I will proclaim the name of the Lord. Oh, praise the greatness of God!” Deuteronomy 32:3
Why we do what we do?
It has been placed on our hearts to declare the name of Jesus in an extraordinary way. The fact that God gave us an idea and the means to make His name more visible to the public is not something we take lightly. Obedience is not negotiable and God’s promise to bless our efforts is unwavering. We want ALL to know HIM and we believe that in this age of political correctness and fence straddling, that proclaiming the name of Jesus is more important than ever! Wearing articles of clothing that contain God’s name or Biblical verses isn’t everything we can do to spread the Good News but it is definitely a piece of the spiritual puzzle.
“This is love for God: to obey his commands. And His commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.” I John 5:3-4
Blessed to be a Blessing
The God Mafia honors giving through our tithes and offerings. It is impossible to out give God! The Bible tells us to give and be happy about it. That may sound “easier said than done” but the wisdom behind it so true. Giving promotes unselfishness, and unselfishness promotes joy. We give to bless others, God blesses us and others bless others and so on and so on. Great concept God came up with. That’s probably why He is the King!
“Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times; having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. II Corinthians 9:6-9
What We Believe
Do you want some straight talk about how to be saved and how to start living a life that is blessed by God?
- Hear the word of God. Don’t just read the scriptures or listen to a pastor but hear what God is speaking to you about your life. Take it personal!
I Corinthians 1:18
“For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.”
- Believe the word of God. Trust that the Word is truth. Stand on it!
Hebrews 11:6
“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” - Confess out loud that Jesus is your Lord and Savior. Speak it!
Romans 10:9-10
“That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.” - Repent of your sins. This doesn’t mean just saying you’re sorry but actually changing your will. Act on it!
Acts 2:38
“Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” - Be baptized to represent the death and resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Follow through with it!
Romans 6:3-4
“Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.” - Worship God. Find a life giving church and fellowship with others that are trying to draw closer to God. Live it!
John 4:23-24
“Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.”
If you are ready to nail your sins to the cross as Jesus was nailed to the cross so that you may walk in God’s favor and have the hope of eternal life, pray the sinner’s prayer:
Lord Jesus, please forgive me of my sins. Jesus I come to you, I know that I am a sinner, I truly believe that you died on the cross and you were resurrected from the dead. Lord Jesus I love you and will follow your way and worship you all the days of my life so that I may have eternal life in your kingdom.
In the name of Jesus Christ I pray, Amen.
